Ha Long Pearl JSC (Ha Long Pearl Joint Stock Company) was established in 2009 on the basis of Vietnam-Japan Pearl Company, the first joint venture breeding cultured pearl oyster between Vietnam and partners from Japan- a country which invented pearl oyster breeding technique with human intervention more than 100 years ago and is the origin of many worldwide recognized pearl brands.

Inheriting Japanese technology, with the diligence, intelligence, skillfulness Mr Le Nam Trung- CEO of Ha Long Pearl JSC has creatively adapted oyster breeding and pearl culture method to obtain precious high quality pearls from Ha Long Bay, creating a Vietnamese pearl brand name in the international market.

Ha Long Pearl JSC is proud to be the first company in Vietnam and the only one in Northen area to control and master every step in the process of pearl oyster breeding and cultivation. 

We have collected and created new breeds of oyster that can adapt to Ha Long Bay environment, such as P. maxima, P.magratiferra, Peguin… creating black pearls, Southsea pearls and Akoya pearls which have high nacre coating speed and beautiful pearl color.

We reproduce healthy oyster breeds, which grow quickly and have high resistance to infection, insuring good conditions for cultured pearl oysters.

Pearls are selected, processed and classified using worldwide standard criteria.

Our products are not only distributed widely within Vietnam but also exported to Japan, USA, Hong Kong and European markets.

Ha Long Pearl JSC has also successfully transformed pearl oyster breeding farmhouses in Ha Long Bay into workshops with showrooms in order to popularize pearl oyster’s cultivation process to local and international visitors. Visitors would be able to beautiful sea landscapes, observing pearl oyster implantation and harvesting process.

There is also a wide range of pearl jewelry, accessories and souvenirs, which can be purchased from our showroom. Furthermore, visitors can have jewelry crafted according to preferences.
